Hey Forrest, I want to publicly thank you for the job you are doing on the
Borger's Historic Booker T. Washington school and Alumni Website

This site has far reaching aspects that will be on the internet forever. Yesterday Lavell did a Google on himself and one of the sites that showed up was the Borger's Historic Booker T. Washington school and Alumni Website with all of the Wilson family pictures, pictures I had not seen since I was a kid.

Thanks again for the job you've done and please know it will be in cyberspace forever.

Hello Alice and Laverne. Thanks for your wonderful message. Yes I remember your family quiet well. I know Novelia, Opheila and Johnny.I also remember the Donnelly and Duncan names. You can e-mail to me a photo of James Davis and and every one in your family who attended Booker T. Washington; and I'll post it to the site. Laverne, I would like to add your name to the Alumni Registure on the BTW site; so that I will have your name listed correctly, Is your maiden name Monroe? Thanks again for the message and I'm looking forward to hearing from you again soon. When you visit the site again, please place membership.

Hello Jane. Thanks for signing the guest book . Tell me more about the Arcadia Press. Sounds like an interesting project that you are working on. The photos that I have are photos that folks have e-mailed to me. They are the ones that you see on the website. Hopefully some one will see your message and be able to help you out with some original prints. There are only a few BTW Graduates still living however there's quiet a few former BTW students still around.

The Borger Board of Education voted to integrate grades seven through twelve during the spring of 1956, so all of the would be BTW graduates transferred to Sam Houston Junior High and Borger High schools at that time. Booker T. Washington remained as an elementary school from 1956 through the term of 1963 – 1964. There are still former BTW students living in Borger so hopefully you can get their input for your project.

I would like a copy of your book when you finish it. Thanks!

Fantastic site. You are doing a great job. I knew very little about BTW until I began researching Borger for a pictorial history, and would like to talk with some grads locally, in Borger. I've lived in Borger for only 5 years, so I need lots of help with researching its history. If anyone is willing to talk with me I can ge reached at agee27713@yahoo.com. I also need hard photos. Thanks for having the site.
