My Great Great Grandfather was Charles (Chas.) T Hunt. Hunt Brother's Circus. Every Summer in the 1950, my Grandfather, Charles Hunt III, took myself and my little sister to see the circus when the show was in town, (Union NJ)

We wondered if this was a picture of Marsha Hunt. She was a cousin to our cousin, Laura Miller. It was fun looking at the old Hunt Brother's Circus. We remember is from seeing it in Dover, Delaware

Since my grandparents were both circus performers in the late 1800's and early 1900's their past circus life has interested me. I am so greatful to find this website and plan to visit Hugo and support the efforts to help people relive the circus days of the past. A museum in Oklahoma will be wonderful. Both of my grandparents were from Coyle, Ok. so they were part if Ok. history of Circus's.

I am writing a book for youth based on stories of growing up in Hugo OK starting with my father's stories from early 1900's Indian territory days and moving through the towns history and develpment in the 2oth century to present. Would love to hear from people with interesting stories of growing up in circus town.

I've noticed the museum sign while driving by the museum site. I think the whole concept is delightful! Yeah For The Circus!
