Katelyn, my mom, and I went to New York for the day on the 17th of October.  We left early in the morning on a coach bus headed for the big city.  Katelyn was excited and I was excited for her considering she thought Hartford was a cool place to visit.  As we pulled into New York she was amazed at Rockerfeller Center, the horse-drawn carriages and the big buildings.  First stop on our tour was to get our tickets to a broadway show.  We opted to see "Chicago".  Although it was a little provocative for children, we all loved it.  I think Katelyn missed the underlying story anyways.  All she did the rest of the afternoon was sing the songs from the play.  Following the play, we ate some traditional NY cheesecake and then did some light shopping.  We left the city around 7:00 pm and Katelyn was asleep on the bus around 7:30!  It was a great day!!
