Hi, I grew up in St. Francis parish and school in Oakville, and I'm now studying for a doctorate in economics in Madison, Wisconsin. (I'm trying to take to heart Francis's stark warnings about the temptations of the 'wealth' of education..)
My dad Jim forwarded me this website (sent to him by Chris). It's wonderful to know that you are so active at my home parish! I had no idea. I've been interested recently in exploring whether I have a vocation to the Secular Franciscans. I'd love to meet you all sometime, though I'm only home one weekend each month or less, so we'll see.
