Melba’s Cream Cheese Pound Cake
3 sticks butter (room temperature)
3 cups sugar
1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese (room temperature)
6 eggs (added 1 at a time)
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 dash (pinch) of salt
3 cups sifted all purpose (or cake) flour
Mix ingredients in order as listed. Grease and flour tube pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Note: This will overflow a normal Bundt pan when baked. The crust is great though.
