Christmas Apple Cider
1 gallon apple cider
1 qt. orange juice
1 large can pineapple juice (a little more than a qt.)
1 cup lemon juice
24 cloves poked into an orange
4 cinnamon sticks
1 cup sugar (taste while cooking; add 1/2 c. more if not sweet enough)
Apple slices for garnish
- Heat in large stock pot on stove until just boiling.
- Reduce heat and simmer 10-20 minutes, stirring.
- Transfer to crockpot to keep warm.
- Makes enough to fill two 5 qt. crockpots.
